C.A.S.T is a project that emerged out of The Gathering of Emerging Leaders workshop which we attended in September 2006. The experience was a great opportunity to clarify our intentions for contributing to world change in a community of support through a process called transformational activism.
Members from the gathering are filming a movie called, “C:A.S.T.” Creating: A Societal Truth. Through group interaction, stories, music, art and dance participants investigate their truths and share in the connection between individual, social, and global transformation.
This process allows participants to gain fresh insights into positive planetary change and clarify the nature of their own transformational work, and explore diverse practices to awaken body, mind, and soul.
Here is a video from an open source experiment in interactive communication “I AM: Awakening the Mind and Heart” Community members are invited to co-create the film and are allowed access to the footage. There will be a yearly release free online as well as a dvd.
“At a time of great hopes and fears. as hateful lies and loving truth compete to rule, at the moment our global mind awakens, a young girl discovers what can heal her world… the secret of our infinite identity.”
“The purpose of the I AM Movement is, saying it bluntly, to help save the world, by catalyzing the awakening of millions of people to recognize the literal truth of their oneness with each other, with the natural Earth and the Cosmos. Nothing short of that kind of spiritual transformation is likely to be sufficient to catalyze the renewal of our bodies, societies, and environment.”
Part 1 of an interesting 3 part lecture series from the Science Network and Skeptics Society! The beginning mentions and dissects “What the Bleep do we Know” –the film. From: http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=4831204601412295941&hl=en
